Quinta do Martelo
In the Azores, most notably on Terceira Island, we find the so-called Empires of the Holy Spirit, which are small buildings with beautiful facades erected for worship by the brotherhoods of the Holy Spirit. There are coronation masses followed by processions and Holy Trinity lunches, where, at tables stretched lengthwise, people sit side by side and eat traditional soups in joyful and wholesome gatherings.
